In this course participants will explore the progressions of fractions from 1st grade through 6th
grade and make connections between grade levels. We will take a deep dive into addition,
subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions. We will also discuss NCTM''s Mathematics
Teaching Practices and how they apply to the teaching of fractions.
